With nearly two decades of real estate experience behind me, you’ll have to excuse the “Realtor” in my writing that tends to peek through. While they may serve a purpose and offer ample space, they fail to embody the true essence of luxury. When we talk about luxury and value, it’s important not to get caught up in the numbers. That luxury experience may not need a million dollars—it may just need the right approach. There’s a big difference between a home with a high price and one that actually delivers a luxurious experience.
I love that luxury homes take you on a journey away from the mainstream real estate market and give your imagination a wild ride. Sometimes it feels like I am in a different country and that story of being in an exclusive place, away from the norm, is so appealing to luxury buyers. Kelowna is still pretty small compared to the big cities like Vancouver or Toronto, but we are on the map with luxury. From luxury estates to smaller luxe condos, Kelowna has it all.

When it comes to design, I enjoy timeless quality, unique designs, art deco, modern accents, and many shades of colour. I love the look of a well-arranged, tidy room and believe presentation is key when selling homes. While I’m not a designer, my years in real estate have given me the privilege of experiencing magnificent homes with unique and unforgettable designs. Those masterpieces have left a lasting impression, and I often draw inspiration from them when consulting with home sellers and buyers.
Living in Kelowna has only deepened my appreciation for exceptional design and art. This vibrant city is rich in creative energy, offering a thriving arts scene that enhances its already stunning landscape. From local galleries showcasing contemporary and indigenous art to public installations that add character to Kelowna’s streets, art is woven into the fabric of the community. It’s a place where creativity shines, inspiring homeowners to incorporate artistic touches into their spaces, whether through statement pieces, curated collections, or design that mirrors the natural beauty of the region. Kelowna is truly a city where art and design come together to create a lifestyle as unique as the people who call it home.
